The Voice of Bangla Rap
Black Zang raps in Bengali and mixes Bengali culture with modern hip-hop.
He has been part of the Desi hip-hop scene for over ten years, and many younger artists cite him as an influence. His lyrics deal with social justice, youth empowerment, cultural identity and personal struggle.
He supports the local scene and works with artists in Bangladesh and abroad. Those collaborations include Mainstream with Punjabi rapper Rai Harrie, the official Dhaka Summer Con 2023 theme and the Dhaka Gang War soundtrack.
